Company Overview
Our friendly primary care team has proud roots in the Sherman community since 1989. The Center for Family Medicine is comprised of 13 providers accepting new patients and providing a full-service, holistic approach to healthcare for patients ages 2 and up. The Center for Family Medicine is owned and operated by our own physicians. We have x-ray, lab, full sized bone density and ultrasound. Due to growth in our area, we are excited to be adding on to our facility to accommodate more providers to better serve our area.
Company History
Center for Family Medicine started as individual physicians who all arriving in Sherman individually and started merging together in 1993 to form Texoma Center for Family Medicine.
In 2004, we built our own building and changed our name to Center for Family Medicine. We continue to serve patients in this same location where we are currently adding space to accommodate the growth.
In addition to our seven physicians, we also have three nurse practitioners and three physician assistants. Over the next two years we plan to add three additional physicians in addition to more advanced practice providers.
Benefits
We provide all of our full-time employees with paid health, long term disability and life insurance. We also offer additional benefits such as dental, vision, short term disability, cancer and critical illness policies, etc.
Our physicians enjoy two weeks of paid vacation and five days of CME pay in addition to an allowance of $1,500. We also cover the cost of licensure and professional dues.
After one year, we also match 50% of all contributions to our employer sponsored retirement plan with no cap and an additional 3% contribution to our profit sharing plan.
